Kylee was born in Casper and spent her childhood there until moving to East Tennessee in 2003. After spending some time in college pursuing several interests, Kylee volunteered with a rural animal rescue in Sevier County, Tennessee in 2010. From there, she has focused on many aspects of animal care and rescue over the last 10 years. Kylee worked and volunteered for the rescue from 2010-2012 until she became director in early 2013. Kylee was the director for the rescue for 3 years and helped find homes for over 1,800 dogs, cats, and one pot-bellied pig during her time there.
In 2016, Kylee was offered an opportunity to train as a veterinary technician. She was a technician at Sevier County Animal Clinic until the summer of 2017 when she moved back to Casper, Wyoming. Kylee joined the Sunrise Pet Lodge team in late 2017. She has enjoyed being part of the team and reconnecting to her western roots.
In her spare time, Kylee enjoys spending time with her husband and pets at home, Duck, a yellow Labrador, and Bug and Moose, two foster failure cats. She plans to get back to volunteering for Casper area animal rescues and helping organize spay and neuter clinics in the future.
